Ranty Reviews
|
“Man only likes to count his troubles; he doesn't calculate his happiness.” – Dostoevsky
How can a ranter not write reviews? After all, reviews are basically organized rants, right?
As I was sorting through the reviews I wrote over the years, I realized most of them are on "rantable" works – those that are good enough to catch my interest, but nonetheless have aspects I have major qualms with. I never wrote reviews for any of my favorite books! Guess that just fits the norm of noisily voicing complaints while keeping silence with compliments. Yes, I am so predictable (yet still awesome).

As I have a deep understanding of the irrationality of humans, I won't ask you why you want to do this to yourself.
