Crafts/Beading

“But a hobby is not half a day but half a life-time.” – G. K. Chesterton
Crafty Menu:
What is the difference between art and craft? The debate is usually centered on the definition of creativity. But to me, the difference lies in the attitude. Art is serious, craft is leisurely. Art is like running on a treadmill, while craft is sipping lemonade on a porch. They are both awesome, but they serve different purposes – at least to me.
Over the years, I've tried my hands on many things: beading, domino art, stamping, paper sculpture, miniatures, mixed media… As I dug out my old crafts, I was floored by the sheer quantity: did I really spend so much of my youth sipping lemonade?! No wonder I have cavities... But then again, as the awesome Mr. G. K. Chesterton declared, a hobby “…is exercising the rest of the mind”. Hence I was extremely comforted in the thought that I might have been actually running at a philosophical speed on a restful treadmill while peacefully sipping tons of awesome lemonade.
What you see here is only a selection of my crafts. I hope browsing through these will give you an awesome taste of the lemonade I enjoyed.
